Joining the ranks of other 80s icons that graced the world of Stranger Things, Hamilton follows in the footsteps of Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Cary Elwes and Robert Englund.
While fans are waiting for season 5 to arrive, it was announced in February 2022 that it would be the series finale. However, the release date has yet to be revealed and production has yet to start.
The show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, revealed in May that they had begun writing the final season in 2022, but had put production on hold due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. They expressed their hope for a fair solution, stating: “We hope that a fair settlement will be reached soon so that we can all return to work,” the brothers recalled.
Hamilton is widely known for her iconic role as Sarah Connor in the Terminator film series.
