The Academy reveals its first cards and presents a list of candidates who successfully passed the verification process qualifying them to compete for Oscar nominations in two categories – international film and full-length animated film.
The Academy is starting to reveal its cards.
On December 21, we will get to know the shortlist of films and names that have been officially selected to fight for an Oscar nomination. However, the Academy is already starting to reveal the first details of what we can expect.
The Academy has just published the lists of films that can compete for nominations in two categories: best full-length animated film and best international film. This is important because this is a list after the first screening, which rejected projects that for some reason cannot apply for nomination (e.g. due to failure to meet the regulatory requirements for applying for nomination).
