This will be DiCaprio’s eighth time starring with Scorsese. The result of their latest collaboration is “Killers of the Flower Moon”, which will soon be released in cinemas. Their next project together will be “The Wager”.
“The Wager” is an adaptation of the book “The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder” by David Grann. It will tell the story of the crew of a British Royal Navy ship that crashed off the coast of present-day Chile. The main character of the film will be the captain of the ship, David Cheap, and his problems with the crew, which began to mutiny, which led to the creation of warring factions. The story will present the events on board and the moment when the survivors were rescued and brought to court martial, where they argued among themselves and accused each other of crimes.
