Beyoncé was accused of trying to make herself look like a white woman by deliberately bleaching her skin for her Renaissance movie premiere. Now Tina Knowles has something to say about that.

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, speaks out on the criticism that Beyoncé received after she appeared at the premiere of her film “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.” The singer was accused of deliberately bleaching her skin and hair to appear more white than black. Tina Knowles decided to defend her daughter.

Beyoncé’s mother described the critics’ behavior as ignorant and showing how much they dislike themselves when they criticize her daughter. Tina Knowles wrote on Instagram Nov. 28, “How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown.”
