It will be more than just a ceremony. It will be a reunion – and a historic moment for British rock.
Noel and Liam Gallagher will gather all the key members from Oasis’ classic line-up when the band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles in November. After last year’s hugely successful Live ’25 reunion tour, the brothers are now taking the next step – and want everyone to join them on the journey.

Noel (59) and Liam (53) want the occasion to include former members such as Gem Archer (59), Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs (60), Andy Bell (56), Paul McGuigan (54), Alan White (53) – and not least the original drummer Tony McCarroll (54).
And this is where it gets really interesting. McCarroll has had a long-term and open breakup with Noel since he was reportedly fired from the band in 1995 after a hotel argument.
Now, the past is supposedly behind them.
“Tony has been contacted and is positive about coming. What happened before is now forgotten. He aims to fly to LA with the rest of the band,” a source involved in the planning told The Sun.
“For the organizers, it couldn’t have turned out better. Seeing all these musicians in the same room is one thing – but the hope is that they might also perform together. Nothing has been confirmed, but it would have been a moment in rock history.
A celebration of British music history
Oasis is one of several big names to be inducted into the 2026 class. Joining them are Phil Collins, Iron Maiden and Joy Division/New Order – and according to rumours, Sir Paul McCartney himself will introduce Oasis during the ceremony.
The band’s catalogue, with immortal classics such as Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Supersonic, is still the soundtrack to the Britpop era. The albums (What’s the Story), Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe are still considered among the UK’s most beloved releases.
The road ahead – and more concerts
The reunion tour in 2025 sold over two million tickets worldwide and created renewed global interest in the band. Now, Oasis is expected to announce additional concert dates in September – which will extend the comeback into 2027.
Although it is still uncertain whether the band will actually perform together at the Hall of Fame ceremony in November, hope is high.
“To see all these musicians on one stage again would be pure magic. It’s a moment no one wants to miss,” the source said.
One thing is certain: the Gallagher brothers have never been closer to a full reunion.
