Imagine taking the build from the original Nokia 3310, scaling it up to laptop size, and then filling it with modern internals. That’s more or less what current brand owner HMD Global wants you to keep in mind when it unveils the Nokia Booklet X15 Enterprise – if the company reveals it at all.
For the Booklet X15 Enterprise, there is currently no official device. It came to light via leaks from an X account, which also described the company’s similarly robust Mission-Safe Phone 2. The product that the leaker @smashX_60 shows is not remarkable in itself for laptops. It’s the Finnish brand’s involvement that makes it remarkable.

Built like a Nokia – rugged?
Like HMD’s current foray into the business market, the Booklet X15 isn’t really intended for regular users. The 15.6-inch computer has a modular design – it should be able to integrate additional functions – and has a high survivability. According to the leak, it should be able to withstand a fall of 1.8 meters. An IP65 and MIL STD810G/H rating should also make it survive more mishaps than just those involving gravity.
Specs & Performance
The 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen LCD is said to have a brightness of 1000 nits. An Intel Core Ultra 5 125H AI rules the show, and Nokia’s machine comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This can be upgraded – if you wish – to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. These are respectable but expensive numbers in 2026.
Other known details? There’s a 5MP autofocus webcam with infrared (?), the machine runs Windows 11 Enterprise – in case you were in doubt about the target audience – and it weighs 2.35 kilograms. This is not something you would take on an easy mountain hike, but it would survive longer than you if you did.

A little look back at Nokia’s heyday – Once the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones.
For us, the novelty factor of a Nokia-branded laptop is the biggest attraction. After all, Nokia is the brand that gave us:
- Nokia 3310 (2000) – The legend that became immortally known for its almost unbeatable durability, long battery life and the iconic game of Snake. It sold over 120 million copies and has taken on a life of its own after launching as an internet phenomenon.
- Nokia 1100 (2003) – The world’s best-selling mobile phone of all time with over 250 million units, known for its simplicity and reliability.
- Nokia N95 (2007) – A groundbreaking smartphone with advanced multimedia, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera phone that was years ahead of its time.
- Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (2008) – Nokia’s first touchscreen phone and an early challenger to the iPhone, known for its music efforts.
Nokia dominated the mobile market for over a decade before the smartphone revolution changed everything. Now the question is: Can the brand’s magic be resurrected in a laptop?
What now?
How will the brand implement something like this, and will it be worth buying at all? Hopefully, these questions will be answered with an official reveal and launch. But those details… are not yet available.
