UEFA highlighted Berg’s “superb positioning” as one of the main factors why Lazio were sent home from Aspmyra with a 2-0 loss, Besiktas desperately need a player like Berg in midfield.
– Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær is said to have approved the transfer for Berg. President Serdal Adalı has stated: “The coach wants Berg very much. So do I,” writes Fanatik.
Bodø/Glimt have shown they can handle selling players and filling up with new ones, but in the case of Patrick Berg, it’s something else. For Berg’s part, Besiktas games may seem like an exciting journey, but from a sporting point of view, why leave Bodø/Glimt?
