Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his legacy globally with the grand opening of the CR7 LIFE Museum in Hong Kong – an immersive tribute to both his football feats and the personal journey behind the legend.
The museum was officially opened on July 7 at the K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, and at a whopping 12,000 square meters, it attracted huge crowds as thousands of fans lined up to enter Ronaldo’s world.

The exhibition features over 40 exclusive items, from match-worn shirts and boots to some of football’s most prestigious trophies – including his 2008 Ballon d’Or, Golden Boots and FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball.
Shows he doesn’t take himself seriously….
The CR7 Life Museum is to remain in Hong Kong for about a year.
But it’s not just about awards.
One of the most personal highlights is a faithful recreation of Ronaldo’s bedroom from his early career in Lisbon, giving fans a rare glimpse into his life off the pitch during adolescence – a time when his dreams were just beginning to take shape.
Even Ronaldo’s life off the pitch is represented: his YouTube content studio is on display – but only VIP ticket holders are allowed to enter the replica of the setup he uses to communicate with millions of fans online.
The exhibition, which runs until June next year, is expected to draw over 12 million visitors, making it one of the largest football-related exhibitions Asia has seen.
The Museum of Hong Kong is Ronaldo’s third personal museum dedicated to his life and career.
In November 2023, he opened the CR7 Signature Museum in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where he currently plays for Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United.
But its flagship and permanent museum is the Museu CR7 in Funchal, Madeira – the Portuguese island where Ronaldo was born and raised. There, fans can explore over 100 of his career trophies, countless memorabilia, and several wax figures of the football icon.
The museum is located under the Pestana CR7 Hotel, a luxury hotel that Ronaldo owns together with the Pestana Group. Everything – from the interior and dining experiences to the rooms themselves – is a tribute to the Portuguese star.
Outside, a tall bronze figure of Ronaldo greets visitors, solidifying the place as the ultimate destination for his fans.
