Netflix has announced its December 2025 release schedule for the Christmas season. And while we don’t have the specific list for Norway quite yet, we do know of a handful of Netflix exclusives coming up.
We’re leaving out the big news every fan of the series already knows: the final season of Stranger Things is rolling out over the next month, with the first episodes releasing on November 27.

Here are the other notable and Christmas-related productions you’ll want to watch on Netflix next month.
December 2
A Christmas-themed special from audience interaction specialist Matt Rife is coming on December 2. It was filmed in Phoenix in October, but promises to tackle the Christmas traditions in the comedian’s signature style.
December 3
Netlesser is currently filled with Christmas movies made for TV. But this year’s movies made for Netflix include My Secret Santa. A single mother tries to get a job as a ski resort Santa Claus to fund her daughter’s ski lessons. Expect a rom-com twist. Starring Alexandra Breckenridge.
December 5
No Christmas theme here, but definitely one to keep an eye on. This is Noah Baumbach’s latest film, starring George Clooney as a famous actor who travels around Europe with his manager, played by Adam Sandler. It received extremely mixed reviews earlier this year, ranging from brilliant to terrible.
December 8
A real portion of family-friendly Christmas joy. YouTuber Mark Rober and Elmo are featured in his half-hour special. They offer gifts, with a whole host of guests, and an extra dose of science and engineering in Robert’s way.
December 11
Rowan Atkinson is back to his old physical comic riots in Man vs. Baby, where Trevor Bingley unexpectedly finds himself in the role of caregiver for a baby. This is a sequel to 2022’s Man vs. Bee, which couldn’t help but remind viewers of Mr. Bean.
December 12
Five years after the release of season two, Home for Christmas returns. It is a Dutch series about Joanne and her challenges in dealing with Christmas as an eternally single woman in her 30s. Late and charming, the previous season was better than the premise should have it.
December 12
Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig return with another Knives Out movie. This one features Josh O’Connor, who has received near-universal acclaim from the just-published reviews. And they are all quite positive, which suggests that Johnson has come up with another must-see film by the end of the year.
December 19
This Korean sci-fi-inspired disaster movie made its debut at the Busan Film Festival earlier this year, and sounds interesting. A major flood sweeps over the earth, and the film follows a group of survivors trying to stay alive in an apartment block.
