It was a goalkeeping blunder from Ørjan Nyland that gave Portugal the victory in yesterday’s Nations League match at home at Ullevaal stadium.
Martin Ødegaard, who was plagued by injuries last season and has now delivered both for Norway in the World Cup and for Arsenal in the Premier League, is naturally worried when it comes to new injuries. – The tackle to Bernardo Silva where he came in too late in injury time was completely unnecessary and too hard.

But the aftermath has not only been about that.
Towards the end of the game, Portugal’s Bernardo Silva went hard against Martin Ødegaard.
The Norwegian team captain thinks it was over the line.
“It doesn’t belong on a football field. He just kicks me down long after I’ve knocked the ball down. I don’t understand what he’s doing,” Ødegaard says to TV 2.
Silva was cautioned after the tackle, which took place far down in Norway’s half of the field. So it was not a situation that entailed a goal chance or danger to the Portuguese team.
“It’s sad that people behave like that. He lost all judgment,” Ødegaard continues.
Silva himself does not want to recognize himself in the criticism.
