Buzz, Jessie and Woody as car icons – Porsche presents very special 911 editions with animated heroes in all-new roles
Porsche has decided to unite the world of cars with the magic of animation and has created three unique versions of the 911 model, inspired by the heroes of the iconic Toy Story series.
This is a project that, on the one hand, plays with pop culture associations, and on the other, shows how flexible and creative a brand known for engineering perfection can be.
911 GT3 RS – Buzz Lightyear on four wheels
The most spectacular of the three is arguably the Porsche 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear.
The car has been painted in colors characteristic of the spacefarer suit of the famous space hero: white, green and purple. This color scheme immediately evokes associations with Buzz’s futuristic spacesuit and his incessant readiness to fly “into infinity and beyond.”
The GT3 RS model, known for extreme performance and rocket-like handling on the track, gets a lightness and humor in this edition without losing any of its aggressive, aerodynamic silhouette.
911 Targa 4 GTS – Jessie in a sporty suit
The second variant is the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS inspired by Jessie, the energetic cowboy girl from the Toy Story universe.
What really stands out is the red Targa roof, which alludes to her signature hat. In addition, there is a white-blue-yellow lacquer that is reminiscent of her western-inspired outfit.
In the interior, details inspired by the Wild West emerge – subtle elements that give the car some of Jessie’s playful and slightly crazy personality.
911 Carrera T – Woody in premium edition
The third entry is the Porsche 911 Carrera T inspired by Woody, the most classic of the heroes of the series.
The designers have taken inspiration from elements associated with his outfit: denim, brown leather and details that allude to the cowboy style.
The result is a car that stands out as a sleek, modern interpretation of the western genre – subtle but full of personality. The Carrera T, as the lightest and purest version of the 911, fits Woody’s image perfectly: simple, loyal and always ready for new adventures.
