British manager Graham Potter has continued to be a very high star with his sweet brother after he lifted Östersunds FK from far down in the divisions to games in Allsvenskan and Europe. – However, it was with the financial help of an overzealous fan who sat on the money bag in the municipality, but it was still a great achievement that brought him to the ball island and a very well paid career there.

Graham Potter has not worked since he was fired from Chelesa in April, while Per-Mathias Høgmo is in a full-time job even though he has said several times that it is over. We don’t think the 63-year-old from Gratangen will ever retire!

Sweden needs a new national team manager! Janne Andersson, who has led the blue and yellows ever since the summer of 2016, has led his last international match. There was a 2 – 0 victory over Estonia in the last European Championship qualifier, but just like for Norway, it was clear even before the game was blown off that they will not be joining Germany next summer.

It was a tearful farewell wishing that the end had been better for Janne, who has led Sweden since the summer of 2016.

Aftonbladet writes that Graham Potter has turned down the job and that the Norwegian success coach with a poetry book in his pocket Per-Mathias Høgmo is a top candidate.

SvFF is well underway with the work to find a replacement for Janne. Head of the federation Stefan Pettersson recently told Fotbollskanalen that the federation has been in contact with several potential candidates. “We have come a long way. We are slowly rushing to get it right”

General secretary Andrea Möllerberg has confirmed that former Chelsea, Brighton, Swansea and Östersund’s FK coach Graham Potter are on the association’s list. But by all accounts, it will not be the Englishman who will take over Blågult.

Aftonbladet claims that Potter has turned down the job.

Häcken’s successful coach Per-Mathias Høgmo is “high up” on SvFF’s list of potential candidates to replace Andersson. The 63-year-old has experience in the job as national team manager before, he was in charge of Norway’s men’s national team between 2013-2016.

Høgmo has also coached clubs such as Fredrikstad, Djurgården, Tromsø and Rosenborg. During his time at Hisingen, he has led Häcken to a Swedish Championship gold and a cup gold.

SvFF’s hope is that a new national team manager is in place before the national team’s January tour in early 2024. “But if it’s not clear, it’s not ready, and then it’s Daniel Bäckström (head of the U21 national team) who takes care of the gang,” Pettersson told Fotbollskanalen recently.

In addition to being one of the best Norway has to offer in terms of football coaches, Høgmo is also a fastastic storyteller.
