Large parts of the internet seem to have collapsed, with Spotify, Google, Snap, and Discord hit by serious problems.

The cancellations are probably due to technical problems at Google Cloud, which provides the infrastructure that supports large parts of the internet.
Many Google services – such as Search, Meet, Nest and others – were affected by the problems, according to the tracking service Down Detector.
But the outages also affected third-party websites that rely on Google’s tools. This includes Snapchat, Discord, Spotify, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and the AI tool Character.ai.
According to Down Detector, the problems were widespread and affected a large number of users around the world.
