Former football star’s ex-wife makes shocking revelations

Samuel Eto’o has ended up in deep controversy after revelations that he refuses to pay child support for his daughter. Worse than that – he is said to have made brutal statements in which he asked a friend to stop “bothering him” with the case, because he “considers them dead”.

Although the young woman is legally recognized as the Cameroonian football legend’s daughter, Eto’o has still not fulfilled any of her paternal duties. Now, four years after paternity was established, the daughter and mother have initiated a new lawsuit to collect the 1,400 euros in monthly contributions a judge previously imposed on him. According to El Mundo, Eto’o has not paid once, and the debt is approaching 40,000 euros.

“He hasn’t even given her a lollipop”
The mother tells La Vanguardia that all they demand is for her daughter’s sake:
“He has never given her anything. Not even a lollipop since she was born. Absolutely nothing – even after the court’s ruling. She has grown up without her father, and she feels sorry for him because he hasn’t even given her the opportunity to meet him.”

Eto’o’s icy attitude The
mother reveals that Eto’o’s indifference extends so far that he did not even know about her daughter’s serious kidney surgery when she was three and a half years old:
“The doctors needed the parents’ medical history. I contacted a mutual friend, but he said Eto’o told him to stop asking. ‘He said last: ‘I don’t care if the mother and the child dies – leave me alone’. I was devastated.”

More Feda Shards Against Eto’o
This is not the first time Eto’o has ended up in court for evading child support. In 2004, he was sentenced to pay for a daughter born after a short relationship in Mallorca – but has avoided paying in full for years. In 2018, another mother claimed 16,400 euros in unpaid contributions. Originally, Eto’o was supposed to pay 3,000 euros monthly, but the amount was reduced to 900 euros when he promised to cover tuition fees – something he has not kept either.

The case reveals a dark side of the former Barcelona star, whose triumphs on the pitch stand in stark contrast to his absent fatherhood.
