The teenager (then 16) said the Hollywood star made his four youngest siblings tremble in fear and made their loved ones’ lives a constant hell, according to a screenshot revealed this Monday. Reports say Brad Pitt finds his son’s Instagram post in which Pax calls him a world-class asshole and a terrible person depressing. According to US and British media reports, Pax’s post was allegedly published on Pax’s private profile in 2020 – an account used mainly by school friends – but was shared with the media this week.
A source close to Pitt, quoted by The Sun, said: “It’s frustrating to see Brad portrayed as a ‘bad guy’ when that’s far from the truth. Pitt has great respect for his children. He decides to remain completely silent about this situation.
Pax was adopted from a Vietnamese orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City by Pitt’s ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, in 2012 and was later formally adopted by Pitt. The couple has five other children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. They married in 2014 but split two years later, ending their 12-year relationship.
After a long custody battle, Mrs. Jolie gained custody of their five youngest children, who were minors at the time. The FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services subsequently confirmed they were investigating Pitt for alleged child abuse following an incident that occurred on the family’s private jet. There was an argument between parents and children which was not resolved properly and escalated more than it should have. Pitt was allegedly intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. Pitt has since been cleared of all charges. The actor did not comment on the allegations, but spoke openly about his drinking and drug use. In a May 2017 interview with GQ, Pitt revealed that he had quit his addictions. In May 2021, the court decided that Brad would receive joint custody with Jolie over the couple’s five minor children.
