Bruce Glover, who played the memorable villain Mr. Wint in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, has passed away at the age of 92.
His son, actor Crispin Glover (Back to the Future), described his father’s passing on social media with the following words:
The 60-year-old Charlie’s Angels actor also posted a children’s photo of herself with her parents.
From Diamonds Are Forever to Chinatown
Bruce Glover became internationally known for his role as the assassin Mr. Wint in the 1971 Bond film, in which he and jazz musician Putter Smith (as Mr. Kidd) chased Sean Connery’sJames Bond.

He also starred in the classic Chinatown (1974) and had guest roles in television series such as The Dukes of Hazzard, Perry Mason, and CHiPs. His last appearance was in the short film An Approximation of their Barbarous Manners (2021), in which he played a fictional version of himself.

Glover previously said that director Guy Hamilton was open to his ideas for Diamonds Are Forever:

Bruce Glover was married for 56 years to ballet dancer Betty Krachey (1960–2016). Together they had a son, Crispin Glover, who became a well-known actor himself (Back to the Future, Charlie’s Angels).
A representative for Crispin confirmed Bruce Glover’s death this Friday, but did not disclose the cause of death.
