Carlos Alcaraz marks his 2025 US Open triumph with a tattoo honoring two of New York City’s most iconic landmarks.
Carlos Alcaraz has been training in Murcia for the past few days and participated in joint training sessions with Italian player Flavio Cobolli under the guidance of Samuel López, who has remained the world number one’s sole coach after he and Juan Carlos Ferrero went their separate ways.

Murcia-born Alcaraz also found time to visit his trusted tattoo artist, Ganga, and mark his skin permanently with a tribute to his second US Open title. If in 2022 he chose to tattoo the date of that triumph, in 2025 he chose two iconic symbols of New York City.
Alcaraz tattooed the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge on his left forearm, making the motivation behind the gesture crystal clear.

Carlos Alcaraz has tattooed the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge – icons from New York City, where he won the US Open in 2025.
His successes at Wimbledon are commemorated with a set of strawberries, while an Eiffel Tower pays homage to his triumph at Roland Garros. The only Grand Slam tournament still missing is the Australian Open, which he will aim for once again from January 18 to February 1.
Alcaraz will arrive in Australia as world number one and will challenge Italian Jannik Sinner, champion in both 2024 and 2025. The two are also set to meet in a pre-show show in South Korea before making their official debuts in Melbourne.
