Only 16 teams remain in the 2026 World Cup, but who will make it to the final at MetLife Stadium near New York City on July 19?
BBC Sport’s football pundit Chris Sutton did quite well with his predictions for the last eight, but Paraguay’s victory over Germany surprised him, as did most of you.
Here you can follow the Norway Brazil match.
From more than 60,000 user predictions for that match, only 2% of you went for a Paraguay win.
Chris Sutton played for Aston Villa and Chelsea, among others, he got a cap for England as an adult.

Below you can see what Chris Sutton says about the Brazil Norway match. – On the BBC’s pages you can see what he thinks about all the quarter-finals.
Brazil vs. Norway: Ancelotti’s tactics against Haaland – and a feeling that it will end in penalty drama
If Brazil win this World Cup, there is one man they can thank: Carlo Ancelotti.
He showed it again in the win over Japan in the round of 32 – the Italian always finds a way. Brazil’s style of play may lack a clear signature, but what is lacking in style is made up for by adaptability and a sense of the flow of the match.
Still: Against Japan, it was clear that Brazil struggled in midfield. Japan ran right past Casemiro and scored – and Norway will feel that they can do the same.
Gabriel vs Haaland – for the first time at national team level
Everyone is looking forward to seeing Brazil’s Arsenal stopper Gabriel resume his rivalry with Norway’s Manchester City striker Erling Haaland – this time at national team level. And I don’t see Gabriel being able to keep Haaland still.
You’ve probably seen the statistic: Norway is the only team Brazil has never beaten. Two draws and two losses in four meetings since 1998. Brazil have also been beaten by the first European team they have faced in the playoffs of every World Cup since 2002.
Prediction: Penalty drama in New York
This time? It goes all the way – and I have a feeling that Norway’s goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland will be the hero in the penalty shootout.
Sutton’s prediction: 2-2 after extra time. Norway wins on penalties.
AI prediction: 4-2 to Brazil.
