The world of football. The world of money madness. While billions of people spend much of the day getting through another day financially, grown men in shorts are cashing in on sums of money from another galaxy. Now a “snotty” 18-year-old also enters the top list.
Here we are again. Forbes publishes the list of the highest paid in various sports, This time a teenager moves into the list of football’s highest-paid superstars.
It is, of course, about Lamine Yamal. This summer, Barcelona signed a six-year contract with their biggest attacking star. This gives the 18-year-old an expected annual income of $43 million, of which around a quarter is commercial revenue after signing highly lucrative sponsorship contracts.
And on top? Cristiano Ronaldo brings in a total of $280 million a year.
