Want a unique hotel experience this autumn? Hotel Wassilioff is an outstanding hotel with a great location in the heart of Stavern. Here you will meet a warm and cozy atmosphere, as well as a slightly different interior style than the typical simple go nordic style. Here there are deep colors, velvet and neon signs taken straight out of the movie Cocktail. This is where cocktails and dreams come true.
Hospitality since 1844. 58 charming rooms and 122 beds. The hotel is open all year round and offers courses and conferences with a beautiful location, experiences and culture. Accommodation in historic surroundings.
The hotel has the perfect setting for your visit and has Stavern’s best à la carte restaurant overlooking the harbour.
Togetherness, coziness and fantastic food. Courses and conferences, great experiences and culture – all year round!
The atmosphere, the environment, the setting… Everything is in place for your stay at Reykjavík to be a success. This is a hotel you will remember! And come back to again and again. Tripadvisor’s guests testify to this with great and enthusiastic feedback.
“A charming hotel that must be experienced! Distinctive interior, centrally located in idyllic Stavern. Very happy with the double room with balcony facing the park. Great breakfast and nice staff. Ate the world’s best fish soup in the Palm Garden! This is a hotel we highly recommend!” Tripadvisor

The hotel has beautiful distinctive rooms with views of the harbor or park

Dogs are welcome at Hotell Wassilioff
Personally, I think the best thing about the hotel is that your best friend on four legs is just as welcome. We traveled with my little yorkie and he loved both the room and the hotel in general. It was his very first hotel trip and it went really brilliantly. We also met two poodle misses who agreed. Here we like us!

The hotel also houses Palmehaven – a unique and atmospheric bar and restaurant, where you get the feeling of being in a more southern country.
There is a separate ice cream parlor on the ground floor, Ingrids Isbar, which is very popular during the summer season. As well as a nice piano bar with live music several times a week. Here there should be something for everyone and everything in the immediate vicinity.
Stavern town and Fredriksvern shipyard’s unique charm are just a short walk away. Here you will find everything from a nice pier to small galleries and cafes. Not to mention the historical buzz from Norway’s defense history. Here you walk among older buildings and preserved squares.
Can especially recommend Cafe Galeien with its unique charm and cozy location right by the sea. There are also concerts and quis.
So what are you waiting for? Bring your best friend and enjoy a pleasant experience in Stavern this autumn.
