Tottenham full-back Destiny Udogie is the name of the Premier League player who was allegedly threatened at gunpoint in September. The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident on September 6. The police have stated that the investigation continues.

Destiny Udogie gets support from Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur are giving support to left-back Destiny Udogie and his family, after he was allegedly threatened with a gun in September.
The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident that occurred on September 6.
After their 4-0 win over FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, a match Udogie participated in, Tottenham released a statement.
A spokesperson for the club said: “We have provided support to Destiny and his family since the incident, and will continue to do so.”
“As this is a legal matter, we cannot comment further.”
The Metropolitan Police stated that they arrested a man two days after the incident with Udogie and that the investigation is ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11.14pm on Saturday 6 September, following reports that a man in his 20s had been threatened with a firearm.”
“Officers spoke with the victim, and during the course of the investigation, it was also reported that another man in his 20s had allegedly been subjected to blackmail and threats from the same person.”
“No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. A 31-year-old man was arrested on Monday 8 September on suspicion of intentional possession of weapons, extortion and driving without a license. He has been released on conditions while the investigation continues.”
