Christian Eriksen did not allow himself to be stopped by a pacemaker. Inter Milan could not continue his contract with the Dane in 2020, as Serie A does not allow players with pacemakers to have surgery. This did not stop the Danish star player. Six years later, the 34-year-old is urged to resign.
At the beginning of June, Eriksen collapsed on the pitch in the test match against Ukraine. This is the second time the world has witnessed the Dane go to the ground, you could see the teammates who were on the pitch also at Euro 2020 when Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest, holding his breath again. Fortunately, the day after the collapse, Eriksen was able to report after he was discharged from the hospital that everything was fine. The open question is whether his football career can continue.
Eriksen has a contract with Wolfsburg until the summer of 2027. He joined the club last year after his Man Utd exit and has so far made 34 appearances in a Wolfsburg shirt.

Few thought the Dane would return after his cardiac arrest in 2020, but the road from rest to rehabilitation turned into playing for Brentford, then Manchester United. When asked by the Wolfsberg coach what he thinks will happen next with the Dane, there is a clear call.
“As a coach, I have to be careful not to interfere, but if I look at it as a person, I would stop,” he told German Sky Sports.
