Josh Hokits who won something couldn’t help himself and tried to outdo Donald Trump by throwing shit at women. – This time it was former first lady Michelle Obama who received a comment on her appearance, that she is actually a man.

The main event ended with Ilia Topuria losing his undefeated record and the lightweight championship to 37-year-old Justin Gaethje, as the American forced the Georgian to give up on the stool and failed to answer the bell until the fifth and final round.
At heavyweight, Alex Pereira lost his debut in the division to former champion Ciryl Gane, who also took home the interim title. The co-main event was the third straight stoppage of the night in the second round, following Sean O’Malley’s victory over Aiemann Zahabi and Josh Hokit’s continuation of his undefeated record by beating Derrick Lewis.

The opening games that night also had early finishes. To start the show, Diego Lopes stopped Steve Garcia in just under eight minutes. Then Bo Nickal and Mauricio Ruffy needed less than five minutes to knock out Kyle Daukaus and Michael Chandler respectively.
However, former NFL player-turned-UFC athlete Hokit has created a controversy that was hardly desired, due to the absurd comments he made after his victory over Lewis.

Josh Hokit’s comment about Michelle Obama
In his post-match interview, Hokit said, “A big thank you to Trump for having the courage to take on something like this—something like that.
“And finally, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?”
Trump’s reaction
According to CNN, Trump responded to the crude remark with a “subtle smile.”
Given that during his two terms as president – first from 2016 to 2020, and then from 2024 to the present – he has not been afraid to make distasteful comments about the Obama family, especially his predecessor, former Democratic President Barack, this is perhaps not surprising.
But the humorous atmosphere – forced or not – did not last long, because after Hokit had finished in the octagon, he put a medallion around Trump’s neck. But it didn’t stay there.
The medallion that disappeared
Paddy Pimblett has now reacted to Ilia Topuria’s brutal loss to Justin Gaethje during UFC Freedom 250. Pimblett has not held back after his rival lost in the White House.
Shortly after the medallion was given to him, Trump took it off. Some have argued that it was consistent with what the New York Times reported – that the 28-year-old had “disturbed” his hair, which led to Trump having to put on a baseball cap to cover it.
Trump’s dilemma
There is a good chance that the reality is that Trump was in conflict. He would have subconsciously seen the funny side, but was shocked since there was no provocation for the statement. He may also have had one eye on securing long-term support for his Republican Party and its likely successor, J.D. Vance – something that would not help to support Hokit’s statements.
